3. Al Quran, Surah Al-Furqan (25) Verse 21-34 - Sheikh idrees Akbar ( The Punishment for disbelievers, polytheists on the last Day)

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

	21 ۞ وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ لَا يَرْجُونَ لِقَاءَنَا لَوْلَا أُنزِلَ عَلَيْنَا الْمَلَائِكَةُ أَوْ نَرَىٰ رَبَّنَا ۗلَقَدِ اسْتَكْبَرُوا فِي أَنفُسِهِمْ وَعَتَوْا عُتُوًّا كَبِيرًا
	21: And those who expect not a Meeting with Us (i.e. those who deny the Day of Resurrection and the life of the Hereafter) said: "Why are not the angels sent down to us, or why do we not see our Lord?" Indeed they think too highly of themselves, and are scornful with great pride.
	Urdu 21: اور ان لوگوں نے کہا جو ہم سے ملنے کی امید نہیں رکھتے کہ ہمارے پاس فرشتے کیوں نہ بھیجے گئے یا ہم اپنے رب کو دیکھ لیتے البتہ انہوں نے اپنے آپ کو بہت بڑاسمجھ لیا ہے اور بہت بڑی سرکشی کی ہے
	22 يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَ الْمَلَائِكَةَ لَا بُشْرَىٰ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُجْرِمِينَ وَيَقُولُونَ حِجْرًا مَّحْجُورًا
	22: On the Day they will see the angels - no glad tidings will there be for the Mujrimun (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners) that day. And they (angels) will say: "All kinds of glad tidings are forbidden to you," [none will be allowed to enter Paradise except the one who said: La ilaha illallah, "(none has the right to be worshipped but Allah) and acted practically on its legal orders and obligations. See the footnote of V.2:193)].
	Urdu 22: جس دن فرشتوں کو دیکھیں گے اس دن مجرموں کے لیے کوئی خوشی نہیں ہو گی اورکہیں گے آڑ کر دی جائے
	23 وَقَدِمْنَا إِلَىٰ مَا عَمِلُوا مِنْ عَمَلٍ فَجَعَلْنَاهُ هَبَاءً مَّنثُورًا
	23: And We shall turn to whatever deeds they (disbelievers, polytheists, sinners) did, and We shall make such deeds as scattered floating particles of dust.
	Urdu 23: اور جو عمل انہوں نے کیے تھے ہم ان کی طرف متوجہ ہوں گے پھر انہیں اڑتی ہوئی خاک کر دیں گے
	24 أَصْحَابُ الْجَنَّةِ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَيْرٌ مُّسْتَقَرًّا وَأَحْسَنُ مَقِيلًا
	24: The dwellers of Paradise (i.e. those who deserved it through their Islamic Monotheistic Faith and their deeds of righteousness) will, on that Day, have the best abode, and have the fairest of places for repose.
	Urdu 24: اس دن بہشتیوں کا ٹھکانا بہتر ہوگا اور دوپہر کی آرام گاہ بھی عمدہ ہو گی
	25 وَيَوْمَ تَشَقَّقُ السَّمَاءُ بِالْغَمَامِ وَنُزِّلَ الْمَلَائِكَةُ تَنزِيلًا
	25: And (remember) the Day when the heaven shall be rent asunder with clouds, and the angels will be sent down, with a grand descending.
	Urdu 25: اور جس دن آسمان بادل سے پھٹ جائے گا اور فرشتے بکثرت اتارے جائیں گے
	26 الْمُلْكُ يَوْمَئِذٍ الْحَقُّ لِلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ۚ وَكَانَ يَوْمًا عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ عَسِيرًا
	26: The sovereignty on that Day will be the true (sovereignty), belonging to the Most Gracious (Allah), and it will be a hard Day for the disbelievers (those who disbelieve in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism).
	Urdu 26: اس دن حقیقی حکومت رحمنٰ ہی کی ہوگی اور وہ دن کافروں پر بڑا سخت ہوگا
	27 وَيَوْمَ يَعَضُّ الظَّالِمُ عَلَىٰ يَدَيْهِ يَقُولُ يَا لَيْتَنِي اتَّخَذْتُ مَعَ الرَّسُولِ سَبِيلًا
	27: And (remember) the Day when the Zalim (wrong-doer, oppressor, polytheist) will bite at his hands, he will say: "Oh! Would that I had taken a path with the Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم).
	Urdu 27: اور اس دن ظالم اپنے ہاتھ کاٹ کاٹ کھائے گا کہے گا اے کاش میں بھی رسول کے ساتھ راہ چلتا
	28 يَا وَيْلَتَىٰ لَيْتَنِي لَمْ أَتَّخِذْ فُلَانًا خَلِيلًا
	28: "Ah! Woe to me! Would that I had never taken so-and-so as a Khalil (an intimate friend)!
	Urdu 28: ہائے میری شامت کاش میں نے فلاں کو دوست نہ بنایا ہوتا
	29 لَّقَدْ أَضَلَّنِي عَنِ الذِّكْرِ بَعْدَ إِذْ جَاءَنِي ۗ وَكَانَ الشَّيْطَانُ لِلْإِنسَانِ خَذُولًا
	29: "He indeed led me astray from the Reminder (this Qur'an) after it had come to me. And Shaitan (Satan) is to man ever a deserter in the hour of need." [Tafsir Al-Qurtubi]
	Urdu 29: اسی نے تو نصیحت کے آنے کےبعد مجھے بہکا دیا اور شیطان تو انسان کو رسوا کرنے والا ہی ہے
	30 وَقَالَ الرَّسُولُ يَا رَبِّ إِنَّ قَوْمِي اتَّخَذُوا هَـٰذَا الْقُرْآنَ مَهْجُورًا
	30: And the Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) will say: "O my Lord! Verily, my people deserted this Qur'an (neither listened to it, nor acted on its laws and teachings).
	Urdu 30: اور رسول کہے گا اے میرے رب بےشک میری قوم نے اس قرآن کو نظر انداز کر رکھا تھا
	31 وَكَذَ‌ٰلِكَ جَعَلْنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ عَدُوًّا مِّنَ الْمُجْرِمِينَ ۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِرَبِّكَ هَادِيًا وَنَصِيرًا
	31: Thus have We made for every Prophet an enemy among the Mujrimun (disbelievers, polytheists, criminals). But Sufficient is your Lord as a Guide and Helper.
	Urdu 31: اور ہم اسی مجرموں کو ہر ایک نبی کا دشمن بناتے رہے ہیں اور ہدایت کرنے اور مدد کرنے کے لیے تیرا رب کافی ہے
	32 وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَوْلَا نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِ الْقُرْآنُ جُمْلَةً وَاحِدَةً ۚ كَذَ‌ٰلِكَ لِنُثَبِّتَ بِهِ فُؤَادَكَ ۖ وَرَتَّلْنَاهُ تَرْتِيلًا
	32: And those who disbelieve say: "Why is not the Qur'an revealed to him all at once?" Thus (it is sent down in parts), that We may strengthen your heart thereby. And We have revealed it to you gradually, in stages. (It was revealed to the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم in 23 years.).
	Urdu 32: اور کافر کہتے ہیں کہ اس پر یکبارگی قرآن کیوں نازل نہیں کیا گیا اسی طرح اتارا گیا تاکہ ہم اس سے تیرے دل کو اطمینان دیں اور ہم نے اسے ٹھہر ٹھہر کر پڑھ سنایا
	33 وَلَا يَأْتُونَكَ بِمَثَلٍ إِلَّا جِئْنَاكَ بِالْحَقِّ وَأَحْسَنَ تَفْسِيرًا
	33: And no example or similitude do they bring (to oppose or to find fault in you or in this Qur'an), but We reveal to you the truth (against that similitude or example), and the better explanation thereof.
	Urdu 33: اور جو انوکھی بات تیرے سامنے لائیں گے ہم بھی تمہیں اس کا بہت ٹھیک جواب اوربہت عمدہ حل بتائیں
	34 الَّذِينَ يُحْشَرُونَ عَلَىٰ وُجُوهِهِمْ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ أُولَـٰئِكَ شَرٌّ مَّكَانًا وَأَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا
	34: Those who will be gathered to Hell (prone) on their faces, such will be in an evil state, and most astray from the (Straight) Path.
	Urdu 34: جو لوگ مونہوں کے بل گھسیٹ کر جہنم میں ڈالیں جائیں گے یہی برے درجے والے ہیں اور بہت ہی بڑے گمراہ ہی
