14. Al Quran, Surah Al-Mumenoon (23) Verse 51-72 - Sheikh Muhammad Al-Luhaidan, (Life of Believers and Disbelievers)

	بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
	51 يَا أَيُّهَا الرُّسُلُ كُلُوا مِنَ الطَّيِّبَاتِ وَاعْمَلُوا صَالِحًا ۖ إِنِّي بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ عَلِيمٌ
	51: O (you) Messengers! Eat of the Tayyibat [all kinds of Halal foods which Allah has made lawful (meat of slaughtered eatable animals, milk products, fats, vegetables, fruits, etc.] and do righteous deeds. Verily! I am Well-Acquainted with what you do.
	Urdu 51: ا ے رسولو! ستھری چیزیں کھاؤ اور اچھے کام کرو بے شک میں جانتا ہوں جو تم کرتے ہو
	52 وَإِنَّ هَـٰذِهِ أُمَّتُكُمْ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً وَأَنَا رَبُّكُمْ فَاتَّقُونِ
	52: And verily this your religion (of Islamic Monotheism) is one religion, and I am your Lord, so fear (keep your duty to) Me.
	Urdu 52: اور بے شک یہ تمہاری جماعت ایک ہی جماعت ہے اور میں تم سب کا رب ہوں پس مجھ سے ڈرو
	53 فَتَقَطَّعُوا أَمْرَهُم بَيْنَهُمْ زُبُرًا ۖ كُلُّ حِزْبٍ بِمَا لَدَيْهِمْ فَرِحُونَ
	53: But they (men) have broken their religion among them into sects, each group rejoicing in what is with it (as its beliefs).
	Urdu 53: پھر انہوں نے اپنے دین کو آپس میں ٹکڑے ٹکڑے کر لیا ہر ایک جماعت اس ٹکڑے پو جو ان کے پاس ہے خوش ہونے والے ہیں
	54 فَذَرْهُمْ فِي غَمْرَتِهِمْ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍ
	54: So leave them in their error for a time.
	Urdu 54: پھر ایک وقت تک انہیں اپنے نشہ میں پڑا رہنے دو
	55 أَيَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّمَا نُمِدُّهُم بِهِ مِن مَّالٍ وَبَنِينَ
	55: Do they think that in wealth and children with which We enlarge them
	Urdu 55: کیا وہ یہ خیال کرتے ہیں کہ ہم انہیں مال اور اولاد میں ترقی دے رہے ہیں
	56 نُسَارِعُ لَهُمْ فِي الْخَيْرَاتِ ۚ بَل لَّا يَشْعُرُونَ
	56: We hasten unto them with good things. Nay, [it is a Fitnah (trial) in this worldly life so that they will have no share of good things in the Hereafter] but they perceive not. [Tafsir Al-Qurtubi].
	Urdu 56: انہیں فائدہ پہچانے میں جلدی کر رہے ہیں بلکہ یہ نہیں سمجھتے
	57 إِنَّ الَّذِينَ هُم مِّنْ خَشْيَةِ رَبِّهِم مُّشْفِقُونَ
	57: Verily those who live in awe for fear of their Lord;
	Urdu 57: بے شک جو اپنے رب کی ہیبت سے ڈرنے والے ہیں
	58 وَالَّذِينَ هُم بِآيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ يُؤْمِنُونَ
	58: And those who believe in the Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord;
	Urdu 58: اور جو اپنے رب کی آیتوں پر ایمان لاتے ہیں
	59 وَالَّذِينَ هُم بِرَبِّهِمْ لَا يُشْرِكُونَ
	59: And those who join not anyone (in worship) as partners with their Lord;
	Urdu 59: اور جو اپنے رب کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہیں کرتے
	60 وَالَّذِينَ يُؤْتُونَ مَا آتَوا وَّقُلُوبُهُمْ وَجِلَةٌ أَنَّهُمْ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ رَاجِعُونَ
	60: And those who give that (their charity) which they give (and also do other good deeds) with their hearts full of fear (whether their alms and charities have been accepted or not), because they are sure to return to their Lord (for reckoning).
	Urdu 60: اور جو دیتے ہیں جو کچھ دیتے ہیں اور ان کے دل اس سے ڈرتے ہیں کہ وہ اپنے رب کی طرف لوٹنے والے ہیں
	61 أُولَـٰئِكَ يُسَارِعُونَ فِي الْخَيْرَاتِ وَهُمْ لَهَا سَابِقُونَ
	61: It is these who hasten in the good deeds, and they are foremost in them [e.g. offering the compulsory Salat (prayers) in their (early) stated, fixed times and so on].
	Urdu 61: یہی لوگ نیک کامو ں میں جلدی کرتے ہیں اور وہی نیکیوں میں آگے بڑھنے والے ہیں
	62 وَلَا نُكَلِّفُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا ۖ وَلَدَيْنَا كِتَابٌ يَنطِقُ بِالْحَقِّ ۚ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ
	62: And We task not any person except according to his capacity, and with Us is a Record which speaks the truth, and they will not be wronged.
	Urdu 62: اور ہم کسی پر اس کی طاقت سے بڑھ کر بوجھ نہیں ڈالتے اور ہمارے پاس ایک کتاب ہے جو سچ بولے گی اور ان پر ظلم نہیں کیا جائے گا
	63 بَلْ قُلُوبُهُمْ فِي غَمْرَةٍ مِّنْ هَـٰذَا وَلَهُمْ أَعْمَالٌ مِّن دُونِ ذَ‌ٰلِكَ هُمْ لَهَا عَامِلُونَ
	63: Nay, but their hearts are covered from (understanding) this (the Qur'an), and they have other (evil) deeds, besides, which they are doing.
	Urdu 63: بلکہ ان کے دل اس سے بے ہوشی میں پڑے ہوئے ہیں اوراس کے سوا ان کے اوربھی کام ہیں کہ جنہیں وہ کیا کرتے ہیں
	64 حَتَّىٰ إِذَا أَخَذْنَا مُتْرَفِيهِم بِالْعَذَابِ إِذَا هُمْ يَجْأَرُونَ
	64: Until when We seize those of them who lead a luxurious life with punishment: behold they make humble invocation with a loud voice.
	Urdu 64: یہاں تک کہ جب ہم ان میں سے آسودہ حال لوگوں کو عذاب میں پکڑیں گے فوراً وہ چلائیں گے
	65 لَا تَجْأَرُوا الْيَوْمَ ۖ إِنَّكُم مِّنَّا لَا تُنصَرُونَ
	65: Invoke not loudly this day! Certainly you shall not be helped by Us.
	Urdu 65: آج کے دن مت چلاؤ بے شک تم ہم سے چھڑائے نہ جاؤ گے
	66 قَدْ كَانَتْ آيَاتِي تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ فَكُنتُمْ عَلَىٰ أَعْقَابِكُمْ تَنكِصُونَ
	66: Indeed My Verses used to be recited to you, but you used to turn back on your heels (denying them, and refusing with hatred to listen to them).
	Urdu 66: تمہیں میری آیتیں سنائی جاتی تھیں پھر تم ایڑیوں پر الٹے بھاگتے تھے
	67 مُسْتَكْبِرِينَ بِهِ سَامِرًا تَهْجُرُونَ
	67: In pride (they - Quraish pagans and polytheists of Makkah used to feel proud that they are the dwellers of Makkah sanctuary - Haram), talking evil about it (the Qur'an) by night.
	Urdu 67: غرور میں آ کر اسے کہانی سمجھ کر چلے جایا کرتے تھے
	68 أَفَلَمْ يَدَّبَّرُوا الْقَوْلَ أَمْ جَاءَهُم مَّا لَمْ يَأْتِ آبَاءَهُمُ الْأَوَّلِينَ
	68: Have they not pondered over the Word (of Allah, i.e. what is sent down to the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم), or has there come to them what had not come to their fathers of old?
	Urdu 68: کیا انہوں نے اس ارشاد میں غور ہی نہیں کیا یا ان کے پاس ایسی بات آئی ہے جو ان کے پہلے باپ دادا کے پاس نہیں آئی تھی
	69 أَمْ لَمْ يَعْرِفُوا رَسُولَهُمْ فَهُمْ لَهُ مُنكِرُونَ
	69: Or is it that they did not recognize their Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) so they deny him?
	Urdu 69: یا یہ لوگ اپنے رسول کو پہچانتے نہیں تب یہ اس کے منکر ہیں
	70 أَمْ يَقُولُونَ بِهِ جِنَّةٌ ۚ بَلْ جَاءَهُم بِالْحَقِّ وَأَكْثَرُهُمْ لِلْحَقِّ كَارِهُونَ
	70: Or say they: There is madness in him? Nay, but he brought them the truth [i.e. Tauhid: Worshipping Allah Alone in all aspects, the Qur'an and the religion of Islam], but most of them (the disbelievers) are averse to the truth.
	Urdu 70: یا کہتے ہیں کہ اسے جنون ہے بلکہ رسول ان کے پاس حق بات لے کر آیا ہے اور ان میں سے اکثر حق کو ناپسند کرنے والے ہیں
	71 وَلَوِ اتَّبَعَ الْحَقُّ أَهْوَاءَهُمْ لَفَسَدَتِ السَّمَاوَاتُ وَالْأَرْضُ وَمَن فِيهِنَّ ۚ بَلْ أَتَيْنَاهُم بِذِكْرِهِمْ فَهُمْ عَن ذِكْرِهِم مُّعْرِضُونَ
	71: And if the truth had been in accordance with their desires, verily, the heavens and the earth, and whosoever is therein would have been corrupted! Nay, We have brought them their reminder, but they turn away from their reminder.
	Urdu 71: اوراگر حق ان کی خواہشوں کے مطابق ہوتا تو آسمان اور زمین میں اورجو کچھ ان میں ہے درہم برہم ہو گیا ہوتا بلکہ ہم نے تو ان کی نصیحت انہیں پہنچا دی ہے سو وہ اپنی نصیحت سے منہ موڑنے والے ہیں
	72 أَمْ تَسْأَلُهُمْ خَرْجًا فَخَرَاجُ رَبِّكَ خَيْرٌ ۖ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ
	72: Or is it that you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) ask them for some wages? But the recompense of your Lord is better, and He is the Best of those who give sustenance.
	Urdu 72: کیا تو ان سے کچھ اجرت مانگتا ہے سو تیرے رب کی اجرت بہتر ہے اور وہی سب سے بہتر روزی دینے والا ہے
