1 لَا أُقْسِمُ بِيَوْمِ
الْقِيَامَةِ
|
|
|
I
swear by the Day of Resurrection.
|
|
|
|

1:
|
قیامت کے دن کی قسم ہے
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
2
|
وَلَا أُقْسِمُ
بِالنَّفْسِ اللَّوَّامَةِ
|
|
|
|
|
2:
|
And
I swear by the self-reproaching person (a believer).
|
|
|

|
اور پشیمان ہونے والے شخص کی
قسم ہے
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
3
|
أَيَحْسَبُ
الْإِنسَانُ أَلَّن نَّجْمَعَ عِظَامَهُ
|
|
|
|
|
3:
|
Does
man (a disbeliever) think that We shall not assemble his bones?
|
|
|
|
|

3:
|
کیا انسان سمجھتا ہے کہ ہم
اس کی ہڈیاں جمع نہ کریں گے
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
4
|
بَلَىٰ قَادِرِينَ
عَلَىٰ أَن نُّسَوِّيَ بَنَانَهُ
|
|
|
|
|
4:
|
Yes,
We are Able to put together in perfect order the tips of his fingers.
|

|
ہاں ہم تو اس پر قادر ہیں کہ
اس کی پور پور درست کر دیں
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
5
|
بَلْ يُرِيدُ
الْإِنسَانُ لِيَفْجُرَ أَمَامَهُ
|
|
|
|
|
5:
|
Nay!
Man (denies Resurrection and Reckoning. So he) desires to continue
committing sins.
|
|
|
|
|

5:
|
بلکہ انسان تو چاہتا ہے کہ
آئندہ بھی نافرمانی کرتا رہے
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
6
|
يَسْأَلُ أَيَّانَ
يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ
|
|
|
|
|
6:
|
He
asks: "When will be this Day of Resurrection?"
|
|
|
|
|

6:
|
پوچھتا ہےکہ قیامت کا دن کب
ہو گا
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
7
|
فَإِذَا بَرِقَ
الْبَصَرُ
|
|
|
|
|
7:
|
So,
when the sight shall be dazed.
|
|
|
|
|

|
پس جب آنکھیں چندھیا جائیں
گی
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
8:
|
And
the moon will be eclipsed.
|
|
|
|
|

8:
|
اور چاند بے نور ہو جائے گا

|
|
|
|
|
|
9
|
وَجُمِعَ الشَّمْسُ
وَالْقَمَرُ
|
|
|
|
|
9:
|
And
the sun and moon will be joined together (by going one into the other or
folded up or deprived of their light).
|
|
|
|
|

9:
|
اور سورج اور چاند اکھٹے کیے
جائیں گے
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
10
|
يَقُولُ الْإِنسَانُ
يَوْمَئِذٍ أَيْنَ الْمَفَرُّ
|
|
|
|
|
10:
|
On
that Day man will say: "Where (is the refuge) to flee?"
|
|
|
|
|

10:
|
اس دن انسان کہے گا کہ
بھاگنے کی جگہ کہاں ہے
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
11:
|
No!
There is no refuge!
|
|
|
|
|

11:
|
ہر گز نہیں کہیں پناہ نہیں
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
12
|
إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ
يَوْمَئِذٍ الْمُسْتَقَرُّ
|
|
|
|
|
12:
|
Unto
your Lord (Alone) will be the place of rest that Day.
|
|
|
|
|

|
اس دن آپ کے رب ہی کی طرف
ٹھکانہ ہے
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
13
|
يُنَبَّأُ الْإِنسَانُ
يَوْمَئِذٍ بِمَا قَدَّمَ وَأَخَّرَ
|
|
|
|
|
13:
|
On
that Day man will be informed of what he sent forward (of his evil good
deeds), and what he left behind (of his good or evil traditions).
|
|
|
|
|

13:
|
اس دن انسان کو بتا دیا جائے
گا کہ وہ کیا لایا اور کیا چھوڑ آیا
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
14
|
بَلِ الْإِنسَانُ
عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِ بَصِيرَةٌ
|
|
|
|
|
14:
|
Nay!
Man will be a witness against himself [as his body parts (skin, hands,
legs, etc.) will speak about his deeds],
|
|
|
|
|
Urdu
14:
|
بلکہ انسان اپنے اوپر خود
شاہد ہے
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
15
|
وَلَوْ أَلْقَىٰ
مَعَاذِيرَهُ
|
|
|
|
|
15:
|
Though
he may put forth his excuses (to cover his evil deeds).
|
|
|
|
|

15:
|
گو وہ کتنے ہی بہانے پیش کرے
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
16
|
لَا تُحَرِّكْ بِهِ
لِسَانَكَ لِتَعْجَلَ بِهِ
|
|
|
|
|
16:
|
Move
not your tongue concerning (the Qur'an, O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) to make haste therewith.
|
|
|
|
|
Urdu
16:
|
آپ (وحی ختم ہونے سے پہلے)
قرآن پراپنی زبان نہ ہلایا کیجیئے تاکہ آپ اسے جلدی جلدی لیں
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
17
|
إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا
جَمْعَهُ وَقُرْآنَهُ
|
|
|
|
|
17:
|
It
is for Us to collect it and to give you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) the ability to recite it (the Qur'an).

|
|
|

17:
|
بے شک اس کا جمع کرنا اور
پڑھا دینا ہمارے ذمہ ہے
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
18
|
فَإِذَا قَرَأْنَاهُ
فَاتَّبِعْ قُرْآنَهُ
|
|
|
|
|
18:
|
And
when We have recited it to you [O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم through Jibril (Gabriel)], then follow its (the Qur'an's)
recital.

18:
|
پھر جب ہم ا سکی قرأت کر
چکیں تو اس کی قرأت کا اتباع کیجیئے
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
19
|
ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا
بَيَانَهُ
|
|
|
|
|
19:
|
Then
it is for Us (Allah) to make it clear (to you).
|
|
|
|
|

19:
|
پھر بے شک اس کا کھول کر
بیان کرنا ہمارے ذمہ ہے
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
20
|
كَلَّا بَلْ
تُحِبُّونَ الْعَاجِلَةَ
|
|
|
|
|
20:
|
Not
[as you think, that you (mankind) will not be resurrected and recompensed
for your deeds], but you (men) love the present life of this world,
|
|
|
|
|
Urdu
20:
|
ہر گز نہیں بلکہ تم تو دنیا
کو چاہتے ہو
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
21
|
وَتَذَرُونَ
الْآخِرَةَ
|
|
|
|
|
21:
|
And
neglect the Hereafter.
|
|
|
|
|
Urdu
21:
|
اور آخرت کو چھوڑتے ہو
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
22
|
وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ
نَّاضِرَةٌ
|
|
|
|
|
22:
|
Some
faces that Day shall be Nadirah (shining and radiant).
|
|
|
|
|

22:
|
کئی چہرے اس دن تر و تازہ ہو
ں گے
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
23
|
إِلَىٰ رَبِّهَا
نَاظِرَةٌ
|
|
|
|
|
23:
|
Looking
at their Lord (Allah).
|
|
|
|
|
Urdu
23:
|
اپنے رب کی طرف دیکھتے ہوں
گے
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
24
|
وَوُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ
بَاسِرَةٌ
|
|
|
|
|
24:
|
And
some faces, that Day, will be Basirah (dark, gloomy, frowning, and sad),
|
|
|
|
|

24:
|
اور کتنے چہرے اس دن اداس ہو
ں گے
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
25
|
تَظُنُّ أَن يُفْعَلَ
بِهَا فَاقِرَةٌ
|
|
|
|
|
25:
|
Thinking
that some calamity is about to fall on them.
|
|
|
|
|
Urdu
25:
|
خیال کر رہے ہوں گے کہ ان کے
ساتھ کمر توڑ دینے والی سختی کی جائے گی
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
26
|
كَلَّا إِذَا بَلَغَتِ
التَّرَاقِيَ
|
|
|
|
|
26:
|
Nay,
when (the soul) reaches to the collar bone (i.e. up to the throat in its
exit),
|
|
|
|
|
Urdu
26:
|
نہیں نہیں جب کہ جان گلے تک
پہنچ جائے گی
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
27:
|
And
it will be said: "Who can cure him (and save him from death)?"
|
|
|
|
|
Urdu
27:
|
اورلوگ کہیں گے کوئی جھاڑنے
والا ہے
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
28
|
وَظَنَّ أَنَّهُ
الْفِرَاقُ
|
|
|
|
|
28:
|
And
he (the dying person) will conclude that it was (the time) of parting
(death);
|
|
|
|

28:
|
اور وہ خیال کرے گا کہ یہ
وقت جدائی کا ہے
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
29
|
وَالْتَفَّتِ السَّاقُ
بِالسَّاقِ
|
|
|
|
|
29:
|
And
one leg will be joined with another leg (shrouded).
|
|
|
|
|

29:
|
اور ایک پنڈلی دوسری پنڈلی
سے لپٹ جائے گی
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
30
|
إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ
يَوْمَئِذٍ الْمَسَاقُ
|
|
|
|
|
30:
|
The
drive will be, on that Day, to your Lord (Allah)!
|
|
|
|
|
Urdu
30:
|
تیرے رب کی طرف اس دن چلنا
ہوگا
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
31
|
فَلَا صَدَّقَ وَلَا
صَلَّىٰ
|
|
|
|
|
31:
|
So
he (the disbeliever) neither believed (in this Qur'an and in the Message of
Muhammad صلى
الله عليه وسلم) nor
prayed!
|
|
|
|
|
Urdu
31:
|
پھر نہ تو اس نے تصدیق کی
اور نہ نماز پڑھی
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
32
|
وَلَـٰكِن كَذَّبَ
وَتَوَلَّىٰ
|
|
|
|
|
32:
|
But
on the contrary, he belied (this Qur'an and the Message of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) and turned away!
|
|
|
|
|
Urdu
32:
|
بلکہ جھٹلایا اورمنہ موڑا
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
33
|
ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ إِلَىٰ
أَهْلِهِ يَتَمَطَّىٰ
|
|
|
|
|
33:
|
Then
he walked in conceit (full pride) to his family admiring himself!
|
|
|
|
|
Urdu
33:
|
پھر اپنے گھر والوں کی طرف
اکڑتا ہوا چلا گیا
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
34
|
أَوْلَىٰ لَكَ
فَأَوْلَىٰ
|
|
|
|
|
34:
|
Woe
to you [O man (disbeliever)]! And then (again) woe to you!
|
|
|
|
|
Urdu
34:
|
(اے انسان) تیرے لیے افسوس پرافسوس ہے
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
35
|
ثُمَّ أَوْلَىٰ لَكَ
فَأَوْلَىٰ
|
|
|
|
|
35:
|
Again,
woe to you [O man (disbeliever)]! And then (again) woe to you!
|
|
|
|
|

35:
|
پھر تیرے لیے افسوس پر افسوس
ہے
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
36
|
أَيَحْسَبُ
الْإِنسَانُ أَن يُتْرَكَ سُدًى
|
|
|
|
|
36:
|
Does
man think that he will be left neglected (without being punished or
rewarded for the obligatory duties enjoined by his Lord Allah on him)?
|
|
|
|
|
Urdu
36:
|
کیاانسان یہ سمجھ رہا ہے کہ
وہ یونہی چھوڑ دیا جائے گا
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
37
|
أَلَمْ يَكُ نُطْفَةً
مِّن مَّنِيٍّ يُمْنَىٰ
|
|
|
|
|
37:
|
Was
he not a Nutfah (mixed male and female sexual discharge) of semen emitted
(poured forth)?
|
|
|
|
|
Urdu
37:
|
کیا وہ ٹپکتی منی کی ایک
بوند نہ تھا
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
38
|
ثُمَّ كَانَ عَلَقَةً
فَخَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ
|
|
|
|
|
38:
|
Then
he became an 'Alaqah (a clot); then (Allah) shaped and fashioned (him) in
due proportion.
|
|
|
|
|
Urdu
38:
|
پھر وہ لوتھڑا بنا پھر الله
نے اسے بنا کر ٹھیک کیا
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
39
|
فَجَعَلَ مِنْهُ
الزَّوْجَيْنِ الذَّكَرَ وَالْأُنثَىٰ
|
|
|
|
|
39:
|
And
made of him two sexes, male and female.
|
|
|
|
|
Urdu
39:
|
پھر اس نے مرد و عورت کا
جوڑا بنایا
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
40
|
أَلَيْسَ ذَٰلِكَ
بِقَادِرٍ عَلَىٰ أَن يُحْيِيَ الْمَوْتَىٰ
|
|
|
|
|
40:
|
Is
not He (Allah Who does that) Able to give life to the dead? (Yes! He is
Able to do all things).
|
|
|
|

40:
|
پھر کیا وہ الله مردے زندہ
کردینے پر قادر نہیں
|
|
|
